Cereal-Scented Candles
Cereal-Scented Candles | MACY CATE WILLIAMS

I was perusing the aisles during my weekly Target visit when something immediately caught my eye in the home section. There’s currently a shelf filled with cereal-scented candles, including this Lucky Charms 3-Wick Candle ($10). Nostalgia immediately kicked in when I also saw candles for Honey-Nut Cheerios, Trix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Cocoa Puffs.

And the best part? They truly do smell exactly like each cereal — it took me right back to sitting at the kitchen counter before school as a kid. The scents are subtly sweet without being overwhelming; these would be fun candles to light in the morning to start off your day. Plus, the candle packaging with the oversize print of each cereal is pretty cool and would fit right into a playful space. Curious about the other candles? Keep reading to check out all the photos I took.

This Cinnamon Toast Crunch 3-Wick Candle ($10) has one of my favorite scents of the bunch and definitely gives off a cozy vibe. Plus, if your home is decorated in neutrals, the cereal print will blend right in. This is proof that you can have fun with decor pieces, even when they’re in muted tones.

The Cocoa Puffs 3-Wick Candle ($10) gives off a hot-chocolate smell that makes you want to stay inside and bake cookies. Who else remembers drinking the chocolate milk out of the bowl after eating Cocoa Puffs? If you are a dessert-for-breakfast type of person, this candle is for you.

The fruity, sugary smell of this Trix 3-Wick Candle ($10) transports me straight back to childhood. My mom used to pack the mini boxes of Trix for long roadtrips. I like the idea of putting this candle in a vibrantly decorated bedroom or living room.

You can never go wrong with a classic, so this Honey Nut Cheerios 3-Wick Candle ($10) has to be one of my top picks. I can’t get over how Target can make a candle smell exactly like Cheerios, but it has somehow been achieved. This is an excellent conversation piece.

I have a feeling these candles will sell out in days based on the fun designs and amazing scents, so make sure to scoop some up before they’re gone. I will be gifting one to each of my BFFs!
