Jennifer Lopez first made her mark as Fly Girl dancer on the sketch comedy series In Living Color before transitioning into an acting and music career. Her breakout role came in the late ‘90s with the biographical film Selena, where she played the beloved singer. Since then the “Jenny From the Block” singer has starred in a range of movies like Anaconda and Hustlers. In particular, the multi-hyphenate seems to have an affinity for romantic comedies with films like Monster-in-Law, The Wedding Planner, and The Back-up Plan. And on February 11, the world gets an early Valentine’s Day treat: her newest romcom, titled Marry Me.
If you haven’t seen the trailer (you can view it here), a summary: J.Lo plays pop star Kat Valdez who is about to wed her fiancé, played by Colombian singer Maluma, on stage in front of thousands of fans. But right before the wedding, she finds out her fiancé is cheating on her and randomly chooses to marry an unassuming audience member, who is played by Owen Wilson. From there, the two embark on an unconventional romance.
Lopez has been promoting the heck out of her new film — and so has her beauty team. Throughout her press tour, the Hustlers actor has been serving looks with slicked-back updos and voluminous curls. We rounded up ever single beauty moment she has had, below.
Rouge Lips
While leaving the set of The View, Lopez stepped out with a dark emerald green coat and floral maxi dress. Her hair was slicked back into chignon to let the outfit do all the talking. Though J.Lo’s eyes are covered up by large sunglasses in this photo, her eyelids were mostly bare except for a dusting of light brown shadows during her appearance on the talk show. But the star of her makeup here is the vibrant red-orange lip she wore wearing.
Old Hollywood Glamour
Lopez was spotted in the streets of New York City with a long black coat and matching shoes and handbag. Once again her eyes were covered with large, cat-eye sunglasses. Her base is flawless and full of glow—that may be the work of an amazing highlighter or her line of skin-care products. Her makeup artist painted her lips with a pink-y nude hue. Finally, her long hair was styled with loose waves that remind us of Old Hollywood glamour.
That J.Lo Glow
Lopez appeared on The Tonight Show and gave us not one, but two different looks. In her interview with Jimmy Fallon, she appeared in a maxi-length, strappy red dress with matching heels. Her hair was pulled back into a bun, but the shorter front pieces were left out to frame her face. Her glam makeup here is simple with lengthy lashes, a little eyeliner, and a nude pigment on her lips. We definitely need the details on whatever highlighter she uses—because her skin is radiant.
J.Lo also had the chance to perform alongside Maluma on the show. Her red dress was replaced with a greige three-piece set. Her hair was taken out of its bun and fell in glorious curls around her face. Her makeup looks the same, but you really get to see the gleaming highlight on her eyes and cheeks up close. There’s also a hint of pink blush on her cheekbones.
High Ponies
This green-and-blue printed, floor-length jacket is the definition of a look. Sunglasses are one of J.Lo’s main accessories during this press tour, but these are squoval black pair. Her bronzed cheeks pair well with the shimmery highlighter on her nose and the nude gloss on her lips. Her hair was lightly curled and slicked back into a high ponytail. The hair looks extra long here, making us wonder if her hairstylist utilizes a few extensions here.
Blinding Highlights
Lopez walked through the streets of Los Angeles covered in snake print from neck to toe. In this photo, she holds her shades in her hand, giving us a peek at her glimmering eye makeup. A mix of shimmery gold and matte brown shadows were blended on her lids, with some extra glittery pigments added to her brow bone. Black eyeliner covered the rims of her eyes, and brown shadows were blended on her waterline. She wore a nude gloss once again, and her highlight is beaming on her cheekbone.
Red Carpet Drama
For the Los Angeles screening of “Marry Me,” Lopez clearly looked to wedding beauty as inspiration. The star wore a short, flared floral lace dress that totally gives us big day vibes. Her blonde-highlighted hair was loosely parted down the middle and styled with a few curls. Her base is flawless (as always) with every complexion product blended to perfection. Her skin was prepped with skin-care products from her own brand and the JLo Beauty That Star Filter Highlighting Complexion Booster in Warm Bronze. A light pink blush shines on her cheeks. There’s a pink shimmer shadow on her lids for a hint of color. Her lips were painted with a light nude gloss that completes the whole look.
Leave it to J.Lo to give us radiant skin, gorgeous hair, and a nude gloss with her beauty moments. Once again, Lopez did not disappoint with her makeup, hair, or outfits for this press run.
