But this month, New York Fashion Week designers come together, give us a peek inside their crystal balls, and show off what trends will be huge come September. Still, let’s not forget the hair and makeup, which always comes into assist — and sometimes steals the entire show.
The first big runway of the season was Proenza Schouler, who tapped Bella Hadid and a slew of models endorsing minimalist makeup and middle parts. But it’s not all pared-down: makeup artists at Runway 7 and Bronx and Banco channeled disco-era glamour with party-ready, glittering eye shadow. Proenza Schouler: Barely-There Makeup
Makeup artists used 111SKIN and Merit makeup products at the Proenza Schouler show, which featured Bella Hadid modeling both the clothes and TikTok’s favorite “clean” beauty look. A hint of sandy shadow lined her lids.

Models repped super-sleek, glossy middle parts and full, natural brows.
Teddy Vonranson: Swoopy Middle Parts
Punk-ish, 1970s hair trends (hello, shag, hello, mullet, hello, shullet) show no sign of letting up. At Teddy Vonranson’s presentation, one model showed off some particularly good styling: a middle-parted long mullet that was curled at the ends.
Runway 7: Face Adornments
Makeup was truly a work of art at Runway 7’s show, which featured models boasting a slew of trends: bold lipstick, vibrant eye shadow, and abstract eyeliner. They’re also making a great point for matching red and pink.
STAN: Monochromatic Makeup
One STAN model kept things minimalist to let their natural beauty shine. Just a hint of blush was swept onto cheeks, along with a matching, dusty rose lip hue. Easy peasy, and oh so pretty.
Bronx and Banco: Disco Ball Eyes
A sleek, middle-parted updo was paired with metallic silver eye shadow for a very disco look.
